Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that Petronas' success in expanding its role in Turkmenistan's energy sector significantly strengthens Malaysia's standing in the global energy market. He stated that the move provides access to some of the world's largest gas reserves and reflects high confidence in Malaysia's capabilities, as well as Petronas' excellent track record over three decades of operations in Turkmenistan.
