US releases experimental Ebola drug for DR Congo outbreak trials 24.06.2026

The US Department of Health and Human Services confirmed it will provide doses of MBP134, an experimental antibody drug, for compassionate use in the Democratic Republic of Congo and to support clinical trials in the outbreak region. No approved vaccines or treatments exist for the Bundibugyo strain responsible for the outbreak.
