The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) recently prosecuted two property sellers for bribing a real estate agent to save on commission fees. The case revealed that the 48-year-old defendant, Leung Kai-ming, commissioned Centaline Property to sell a residential unit located on Lantau Island. After the agent successfully found a potential buyer, arrangements were made for both parties to sign a provisional sale and purchase agreement on December 24, 2023.
