Johor polls: Saifuddin steers 'Reset' supporters away from Pakatan 19h ago

During the Himpunan Reset held at the Danga Bay Convention Centre on Sunday night, July 5, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah addressed the upcoming Johor elections. As the secretary-general of the "Reset" movement, he explicitly instructed members and activists to exercise their voting rights by supporting candidates they deem suitable, provided they do not vote for Pakatan Harapan. Addressing the complexity of the election, Saifuddin noted that there are 50 constituencies where party overlaps occur, such as between PAS and Barisan Nasional. He urged voters to rely on their own moral compass and wisdom to select candidates who align with principles of good governance and integrity. The movement aims to encourage voters to prioritize the state's welfare and the prevention of wrongdoing over strict party loyalty during this critical electoral period.
