Zelensky warns of new Russian attacks as battle for Kostyantynivka continues 17h ago

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected Kremlin claims that Russian forces have captured the strategic eastern town of Kostyantynivka, asserting that intense fighting for the settlement continues. This location serves as a vital outpost on the route to major hubs within the Donetsk region. Zelensky warned that intelligence indicates Russia is preparing a new wave of massive strikes, following a recent attack on Kyiv that killed 30 people. These warnings come ahead of an upcoming NATO summit in Turkey, where Zelensky is scheduled to meet with US President Donald Trump to discuss the ongoing conflict. Meanwhile, Zelensky emphasized that Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil and fuel depots are successfully delivering results. He stated that Kyiv aims to bring conditions for a dignified peace closer through both force and diplomacy as the invasion enters its fifth year.
