Google’s Pixel 11 launch event is set for August 12, with possible price increases 7h ago

Google has officially announced its upcoming Made By Google event, scheduled to take place on August 12 in New York City. While the official invitation remains vague, teaser imagery suggests the new Pixel 11 series will maintain a design language similar to previous models, though the Pro and Pro Fold versions may feature a slimmer profile. A significant rumored addition is the "Pixel Glow," a rear-facing notification light. Due to an AI-driven component shortage, the devices may see price increases. Notably, Google is expected to eliminate the 128GB base storage option, moving to 256GB as the standard for all models. In the European market, this change results in higher starting prices, with the Pixel 11 and 11 Pro expected to cost 999 and 1,199 euros, respectively, while the Pro XL and Pro Fold will also see price hikes.
