Polokwane businessman nabbed over R800,000 `arson’ attacks 13.07.2026

Limpopo police arrested a Polokwane businessman on Monday morning at his home in Welgelegen, following two arson incidents reported on June 28. According to police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, members of the provincial tracking team and investigation unit executed a warrant of arrest during an intelligence-driven operation. The first incident occurred at approximately 4:30am when an unknown suspect allegedly set fire to the signboard of a rehabilitation centre in Ladanna, located next to Dendron Road. The suspect then traveled to Seshego Zone 3, where a Toyota Hilux extended cab pickup was set ablaze.
