Norwegian Soren Waerenskjold launched a long-range sprint to secure victory in the 11th stage of the Tour de France on Wednesday, marking his first stage win in the race. The 161km route from Vichy to Nevers saw an average speed of 50.91kph, breaking the record for the fastest road stage in the Tour's 113 editions. Dutchman Olav Kooij finished second, while Belgian Jasper Philipsen took third place.
