S'pore man claims he was left stranded at rest stop on way to KL at 4am after coach drove off without him 11h ago

A Singaporean man named Ernz claims he was left stranded at a rest stop in Malaysia at 4am after the coach he was traveling on drove off without him. The incident occurred on July 19, 2026, during a trip from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur with Billion Stars Express. Ernz had booked a last-minute ticket for an 11pm departure from Tai Seng MRT, but the coach liner called him right away to change the time to 10pm, forcing him to rush in a cab. However, upon arrival, the coach was delayed, and a live tracker showed it was still in Johor Bahru. At around 4:15am, Ernz alighted for a restroom break during a stop, only to see the coach drive away. His friend on the bus informed the driver, but "they don't care." All of Ernz's belongings, including his passport, were on the coach. He eventually took a Grab ride to complete his journey and spent about S$70 extra, including the initial cab ride. Ernz tried to contact the coach liner but has not received a response. Mothership has reached out to Billion Stars Express for comment.
