Yew Tee resident claims holes made in temporary female bathrooms at HDB HIP site for peeping at occupants 17.07.2026

On July 8, 2026, at around 9pm, a 33-year-old tenant, Ms S, discovered holes in temporary female bathrooms at Block 563 Choa Chu Kang Street 52, part of HDB's Home Improvement Programme (HIP). She noticed a hole in the wall panel while preparing to shower, saw something black moving, and heard a noise from a locked storage area behind the toilets. After alerting site management, she found approximately 10 holes across three cubicles, covered with white masking tape, which she believed targeted women's private areas. The resident and property owner, Ezan, ruled out foreign workers as suspects, noting they left by 6-7pm, and suspected someone with access to the lock.
