Federal Territories Minister Hannah Yeoh has strongly denied false claims circulating online about the workforce composition of Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), which have emerged during the state election campaign. In a Facebook post, Yeoh addressed a viral WhatsApp poster that alleged DBKL employed only seven Indians and one Chinese, calling it completely false and not reflective of the local authority's actual data. She provided official figures showing that as of July 1, DBKL employed 9,131 people, including 490 Indians and 22 Chinese. Within the management and professional group, there are 10 Indian officers and two Chinese officers.
