Man, 78, found dead in Lengkok Bahru flat after bread left uncollected outside for a week 21h ago

A 78-year-old man was discovered motionless and pronounced dead in his Block 58 Lengkok Bahru flat on July 25, after volunteers noticed that bread delivered to his home had not been collected for an entire week. According to Shin Min Daily News, the man, identified as Lin Yaba, was found in his living room. The area was cordoned off when Shin Min visited on Saturday. The deceased's siblings and other family members arrived at around 4pm, and his body was loaded into a vehicle at about 5:30pm. Family members burned joss paper in a traditional send-off.
