At the Cancun International Airport in Quintana Roo, personnel from the Secretariat of National Defense (Defensa), in coordination with the National Customs Agency of Mexico (Aduanas), seized 12 kilograms of cocaine hidden inside a wheelchair. The seizure took place during a routine security inspection when agents detected anomalies in the metal structure of the mobility device. Upon a more detailed review, they located packages containing the suspected drug, which were part of the luggage of a passenger arriving from Medellín, Colombia.
