The town of Sisian in Armenia's Syunik Province is set to host the fifth annual "Navasard" Armenian-Iranian Cultural and Culinary Festival on August 10 and 11. The event, which will transform the town into a hub of cultural heritage and friendship, features a diverse program including culinary competitions, concerts, and exhibitions. Mekhak Apresyan, President of the Armenian Tourism Federation, announced that this year's festival will be held over two days due to visitor feedback, a decision expected to provide a significant economic boost to Sisian by drawing tourists who will stay in local hotels and guesthouses.
