He argued that the country needs a "peaceful revolution" to remain a "respectable nation" by 2047, noting that neighboring countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and Bangladesh have surpassed India in per capita GDP. Wangchuk criticized the current political system, stating that nearly half of Parliament members face criminal accusations, including serious charges like murder and rape, which he believes hinders national development.
