The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has announced that His Holiness the Catholicos and six high-ranking bishops will not appear at the court session scheduled for tomorrow. The decision is based on their legal right under Article 272, Part 4 of Armenia's Criminal Procedure Code, which allows defendants to be absent from court under certain conditions. Their interests will be represented by their defense attorneys.
