Congress leader Pawan Khera on Saturday accused the BJP of threatening the country's youth with violence, citing a social media post from BJP Karnataka featuring its "Dimaagi Naxals" video. In a post on X, Khera stated that the BJP's new social media team has "graduated to openly threatening youth with violence," adding that "the mask is finally slipping." The accusation comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his Independence Day address, used the term "dimagi naxal" to describe individuals with Maoist thinking who he said need to be "identified and isolated." Modi contrasted them with "hathariya naxal" (armed naxals) who he claimed have been eliminated.
