A recent survey by AAPI Data has found that President Donald Trump is losing support among Indian-American voters ahead of the November midterm elections. According to the survey, 66% of Indian-Americans plan to vote for Democratic candidates in House of Representatives elections, while only 22% intend to back Republicans. Similarly, in Senate elections, 66% favor Democrats compared to 18% for Republicans. This represents a notable shift from the 2024 presidential election, when a Carnegie Endowment survey found that 32% of Indian-Americans planned to support Trump, with support particularly strong among men at 40%.
