On Sunday morning, police were called to the Wincobank area of Sheffield following reports of concern for the safety of an infant. Officers searched a property on Holywell Heights and discovered a newborn baby girl who had been stabbed to death. A forensic post-mortem examination later confirmed that the cause of death was stab wounds.
