The reward for information leading to the arrest of Shakil, the only remaining fugitive in the Kaushambi cracker factory blast case, has been increased to ₹50,000, police announced on Friday. The blast, which occurred on August 31 at a factory in Manauri town, killed 14 people. Three seriously injured victims are still undergoing treatment at SRN Hospital in Prayagraj. The reward was enhanced by Inspector General of Police, Prayagraj Range, Ajay Mishra, according to Kaushambi Superintendent of Police Satyanarayan Prajapat.
