2026-2030 Five-Year Development Plan: Three Reforms to Improve the Business Climate 07.07.2026

The draft 2026-2030 Five-Year Development Plan, presented to the Assembly of Representatives of the People between June 30 and July 2, aims to boost the Tunisian economy by improving the business climate. This ambitious plan is based on three strategic pillars: the digitalization of services to enable business creation within 24 hours, the strengthening of logistical infrastructure through major projects such as the Enfidha port and the extension of the Tunis-Carthage airport, and the modernization of land management with the creation of the “Taâmir” platform by 2028. The objective is to achieve a growth rate of 4.2% and to attract 6 billion dinars in foreign investment by 2030. By optimizing administrative processes and infrastructure, the government hopes to increase the investment rate to 20% of GDP and achieve sustainable improvements in human development.
