Since late June, merchants in Mouleydier, Dordogne, have been actively preparing for the arrival of the Tour de France on Saturday, July 11. Butcher Raël Miot took the initiative to organize decorations, encouraging his colleagues to adorn their shop windows with jersey garlands and bicycles loaned by the town hall. Émilie Visscher, a veterinarian, and Sylvie Chaulet, a hairdresser, also participated, with the latter even creating a poster with her nephew. The goal is to show that Mouleydier, located a few kilometers from Bergerac, deserves to be highlighted beyond larger cities like Périgueux.
