The Office of Minister without Portfolio Tatjana Macura, who is responsible for coordinating activities in the field of gender equality and the economic empowerment of women, has supported the project "Support for the economic empowerment of women through the improvement of local childcare services." The project scored a high 97 points within the public call for the allocation of funds for 2026. The aim of this initiative is to improve family support services through the cooperation of the Municipality of Trstenik and the Preschool Institution "Biseri." The funds will be allocated to the equipping of a new kindergarten facility in Trstenik, the construction of which is currently underway. This will enable the purchase of necessary furniture, thereby eliminating waiting lists and creating modern conditions for attending preschool education. The President of the Municipality, Milena Turk, expressed great gratitude to Minister Macura for this significant support, which directly contributes to the local community.
