US claims destroyed IRGC command centre, more Israel attacks on Tehran 03.03.2026

The United States military, through CENTCOM, claims to have destroyed Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) command and control facilities, air defense installations, and missile/drone launch sites in Iran, continuing attacks for a fourth day. These actions are part of a broader US-Israel offensive that began on Saturday, with Tehran retaliating regionally. CENTCOM reported destroying over 1,250 targets and 11 Iranian ships, while confirming six US service personnel deaths in Kuwait due to a mistaken shootdown during an Iranian attack. Iran's Red Crescent states 787 people have been killed and 1,039 attacks have occurred since Saturday, with specific reports of 13 soldiers killed in Kerman and five IRGC members in Bushehr. Explosions were heard in Tehran, Isfahan, and Shiraz, with Israel's air force targeting Iran's air defense systems and ballistic missile platforms. Simultaneously, Israel attacked Hezbollah positions in Beirut, following earlier strikes that killed at least 52. Hezbollah claimed to have attacked an Israeli airbase with drones. UN officials expressed alarm over the threat to children and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities.
