Two Palantir veterans just came out of stealth with $30 million and a Sequoia stamp of approval 19.03.2026

New York-based startup Edra has secured $30 million in Series A funding, led by Sequoia Capital with participation from 8VC and A*. Founded by former Palantir veterans Eugen Alpeza and Yannis Karamanlakis, Edra aims to automate company workflows by transforming operational data into a dynamic knowledge base. Alpeza previously led Palantir's AI Platform launch and managed commercial accounts, while Karamanlakis was Palantir's first Forward Deployed AI Engineer, focusing on production AI models. Edra addresses the challenge of companies possessing vast amounts of untapped operational data, such as emails and support tickets, by automatically analyzing and updating this information into a usable knowledge base. Current applications are in IT service management and customer support, with clients including HubSpot, ASOS, Cushman & Wakefield, and easyJet.
