350k supplements recalled for packaging flaw that poses ‘serious injury or death’ risk to children 13h ago

Vitaquest International has voluntarily recalled approximately 356,140 dietary supplements containing iron due to a critical packaging flaw. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that the recalled products, which include prenatal vitamins, supplements for bariatric surgery patients, and Zenbean Kids Café Instant Coffee + Nutrition Latte, lack the required child-resistant packaging. This deficiency poses a significant "risk of serious injury or death" from accidental poisoning if young children ingest the contents. The recalled items were sold nationwide between April 2023 and February 2026 across various retailers, including Ulta Beauty and Amazon, as well as through medical practitioners' offices and brand websites. Vitaquest International has confirmed that the product formulation and iron content are safe, with the only concern being the non-child-resistant packaging.
