Ecouté Audio Headphones That Use Vacuum Tubes For Warmer Sound 20.03.2026

Écoute Audio has launched the TH1 headphones, a unique product in the audio market that integrates a genuine triode vacuum tube, specifically the Korg and Noritake Itron-developed Nutube 6P1, as a stereo preamplifier. This design deviates from typical Bluetooth headphones that rely on system-on-a-chip technology, aiming to deliver audiophile-quality sound on the go. The TH1 combines the Nutube 6P1 with discrete Class A/B analog amplifiers and 40mm titanium-coated drivers, creating a dual-mono signal path for enhanced soundstage and warmth. The headphones offer versatile connectivity options including Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC and AAC codecs, a USB-C input for high-resolution digital audio up to 384kHz/32-bit, and a 3.5mm analog input. The Écoute Tuning app allows for firmware-level adjustments to the digital signal processor, providing precise control over audio parameters. Priced at $899 / £900, the TH1 headphones are now available.
