Nathan Potier, 36, and Erica Palmer, 36, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, face felony charges after allegedly forcing a 14-year-old girl in their care to become pregnant with twins, acting as their surrogate. The investigation began in December when Child Protective Services alerted authorities to the teen's pregnancy. Potier is charged with sexual assault of a child, and Palmer is accused of enabling sexual abuse, with Palmer admitting she wanted children but was unable to conceive due to having her tubes tied. The couple fled Oklahoma, but were apprehended on March 17, 2026, in Sparks, Nevada, by the United States Marshals Nevada Violent Offender Task Force. They will be extradited to Oklahoma County to face charges, while the teen is now in foster care.
