Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko stated that Russian-Iranian drones struck the city, impacting the 17th-century St. Andrew's Church. This incident follows a large-scale overnight missile and drone assault across multiple Ukrainian cities, which resulted in at least five deaths and 16 injuries. Ukraine's air force reported that Russia launched 392 drones and 34 missiles overnight, with air defense units neutralizing a significant portion. The attacks also caused power disruptions in Moldova and prompted Poland to scramble fighter jets.
