39 ‘wanted persons’ nabbed in 4-day Selangor sting 21.06.2026

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department chief M Kumar announced the arrest of 39 wanted persons, five of whom are held under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma), during a four-day sting operation in Selangor that concluded on Sunday. The operation, codenamed Op Cantas Bersepadu, involved joint raids by federal police, local authorities, and the immigration department. Kumar stated that the other 34 wanted individuals were arrested for violent and property crimes.
