Eerie new video shows Bryan Kohberger casually stroll into DMV in fruitless attempt to evade police after brutal murders 26.03.2026

Newly released video footage captures Bryan Kohberger entering a Washington state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) office in Pullman on November 18, 2022, just five days after the brutal murders of four University of Idaho students. During his visit, Kohberger casually conversed with a DMV employee while attempting to switch his Pennsylvania license plates to Washington plates for his white Hyundai Elantra. Prosecutors stated this action complicated the initial search for the vehicle, which was identified by surveillance cameras near the students' off-campus residence at 1122 King Road in Moscow. Despite this attempt to evade detection, federal investigators monitored Kohberger as he drove the vehicle to Pennsylvania. He was later pulled over twice in December 2022, with police noting the Washington plates. Kohberger ultimately pleaded guilty to four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary in October 2023, avoiding the death penalty.
