41 motorists, aged 25-68, to be charged for drink-driving offences 25.06.2026

Singapore police have announced that 41 motorists will be charged on June 25, 2026, for drink-driving offences. The individuals, aged between 25 and 68, were arrested between March and June 2026 after failing breathalyser tests during enforcement checks. Among them are two male repeat offenders, aged 44 and 48, who were stopped on April 16 and June 18 respectively. If convicted, they face mandatory jail terms under Singapore's drink-driving laws, which impose fines of S$2,000 to S$10,000 and up to 12 months' jail for first offences, with harsher penalties for subsequent offences, including fines up to S$20,000 and up to two years' jail.
