The collision, which occurred around noon on Highway 70, involved the school bus, a Chevrolet Trailblazer, and a dump truck from the Tennessee Department of Transportation, though officials stated the dump truck was not a cause. The bus was carrying 25 students and five adults to Jackson, Tennessee, for a field trip. Four individuals were hospitalized in Nashville in stable condition, while nineteen others were treated and released from a local hospital. School officials have confirmed all families were notified and counselors will be available.
