A tragic accident involving a Kenwood Middle School bus in Carroll County, Tennessee, on Friday resulted in the deaths of two students and injuries to at least seven others. The collision, which occurred around noon on Highway 70, involved the school bus, a Chevrolet Trailblazer, and a dump truck from the Tennessee Department of Transportation, though officials stated the dump truck was not a cause. The bus was carrying 25 students and five adults to Jackson, Tennessee, for a field trip. Four individuals were hospitalized in Nashville in stable condition, while nineteen others were treated and released from a local hospital. School officials have confirmed all families were notified and counselors will be available.
