Woods released on bail after arrest for Florida car crash 11h ago

Tiger Woods was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI), property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test following a single-vehicle rollover crash on Jupiter Island, Florida, on Friday afternoon. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the incident occurred around 2 p.m. local time, involving Woods' Land Rover colliding with a pressure-washer vehicle and flipping over. Woods, who was the sole occupant of his vehicle and sustained no injuries, was held for eight hours before being released on bail early Saturday morning. Sheriff John Budensiek noted that Woods exhibited signs of impairment and refused a urine test after a breathalyser showed zero alcohol, suggesting impairment by medication or drugs. This incident marks Woods' third high-profile car accident, following previous DUI arrest in 2017 and a serious rollover crash in California in 2021.
