China condemns US-Israeli attack on girls' school in Iran at UN debate 12h ago

At an emergency debate requested by Iran, China, and Cuba at the UN Human Rights Council on March 27, China's Ambassador to the UN, Jia Guide, condemned the attack on Minab Primary School in Iran, which resulted in the deaths of 168 young girls. Jia described the atrocity as a grave violation of human rights and international humanitarian law, emphasizing that the unauthorized attack by the United States and Israel, without UN Security Council authorization, is the root cause of the tragedy. He highlighted that these actions not only violate Iranian sovereignty and human rights but also escalate regional conflict, urging for the resolution of all contentious issues through dialogue and negotiation to protect fundamental human rights and regional peace.
