Qodo raises $70M for code verification as AI coding scales 30.03.2026

Qodo, a New York-based startup specializing in AI agents for code review, testing, and governance, has secured $70 million in Series B funding, bringing its total raised to $120 million. The investment, led by Qumra Capital, aims to address the growing challenge of verifying AI-generated code, which is rapidly increasing as tools like OpenClaw and Claude Code gain traction. Despite the speed of AI code generation, many enterprises struggle with ensuring the reliability and security of this output. Qodo differentiates itself by focusing on how code changes impact entire systems, incorporating organizational standards, historical context, and risk tolerance, rather than just analyzing individual code modifications. The company, founded in 2022 by Itamar Friedman, is already working with major enterprises including NVIDIA, Walmart, and Red Hat, and has recently launched Qodo 2.0, a multi-agent system that leads current benchmarks for code review performance.
