Dader steekpartij klaagt tevergeefs over politiegeweld en is inmiddels spoorloos 03.04.2026

An 18-year-old man without a residence permit, who stabbed someone in the chest in November 2024, will not receive a reduced sentence for alleged police brutality during his arrest. The incident occurred outside a café at 4:49 AM on November 17, 2024, after the man first struck the victim with an object and then stabbed him, resulting in a two-day hospital stay for the victim with a collapsed lung. The court deemed the violence, including a punch to the lower back after the suspect resisted arrest, to be proportionate. The suspect, who also committed a wallet theft the day prior using a "football trick," is now missing, despite a month of youth detention being imposed, which will be reduced by time already served in pre-trial detention.
