Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks regarding the state's free bus travel scheme for women, asserting that Modi's comments demonstrate a disregard for women's progress and empowerment. Stalin, addressing a poll campaign in Cuddalore on Tuesday night, argued that the scheme, known as "Vidiyal Payanam," is an "economic revolution" that benefits women. He also accused AIADMK chief Edappadi K. Palaniswami of compromising Tamil Nadu's rights by aligning with the BJP, mockingly referring to the AIADMK as "Amit Shah DMK." Stalin emphasized the importance of the "Dravidian Model 2.0" government for the state's continued development.
