Brian Hooker, 58, has broken his silence following the disappearance of his wife, Lynette Hooker, 55, who fell overboard from a dinghy in The Bahamas on Saturday. Brian claims unpredictable seas and high winds caused Lynette to fall into the water near Elbow Cay, taking the dinghy's keys and shutting off the engine. Despite desperate attempts to reach her, he states currents carried her away. Lynette's daughter, Karli Aynesworth, has called for a full investigation, citing concerns that Brian did not notify her of the tragedy for 24 hours. Authorities have transitioned the search-and-rescue mission to a recovery operation. The couple, from Onsted, Michigan, had been on a four-year voyage documenting their lives as "The Sailing Hookers."
