KHDA rolls out home-based learning options for children 11.04.2026

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai has introduced two new home-based learning services for children up to six years old to ensure educational continuity during disruptions. These services include Centre-Led Home-Based Learning (CLHL) Hubs, which are small learning groups of up to eight children from different families conducted in approved homes and supervised by center staff, and CLHL Educators, providing personalized home tutoring by KHDA-registered teachers for individual children or siblings. These options are exclusively available during government-mandated distance learning periods and are regulated by a seven-requirement framework focusing on safety, quality, and parent partnership, with licensed centers remaining fully accountable for the educational standards and child safeguarding.
