Actress Jacqueline Fernandes has expressed her desire to become an approver in the Rs. 200 crore money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrasekhar. The Patiala House court issued a notice to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on April 17, 2026, seeking a response by April 20 regarding Fernandes's plea to cooperate with the investigation. Fernandes, an accused in the case, allegedly received gifts from Chandrasekhar using proceeds of crime. The court is currently hearing arguments on the charge, and while other accused persons argued for their right to receive notice, the ED stated it was a matter between the applicant, agency, and court.
