Nigerian Police Bust Alleged Kidnap Syndicate In Ondo, Arrest Suspect At Motor Park 18.04.2026

The Ondo State Police Command successfully arrested a suspected kidnapper and rescued a victim in Isua Akoko following an intelligence-driven operation. The incident began on April 10, 2026, when Ahmadu reported two young men missing after they went to Ipesi Akoko for cattle rearing. Police launched an immediate operation, leading to the rescue of one abducted victim. The victim reported being kidnapped at night by three individuals and recalled fighting back, causing a head injury to one abductor. Acting on this information, officers apprehended a suspicious man with a visible head injury at Obasanjo Motor Park in Isua on Tuesday morning. The suspect confessed to involvement in the kidnapping, and the victim identified him by his injury. The rescued victim is receiving medical attention, and the suspect is under further investigation with plans for court charges.
