S'pore couples with dual income & no kids aspire to purchase private property: PropertyGuru Survey 20.04.2026

A PropertyGuru survey published on April 20, 2026, reveals that dual-income, no-kid (DINK) couples in Singapore, particularly those over 30 with a combined monthly income of at least S$10,000, aspire to purchase private property, with one-third planning to buy within 12 to 19 months and 44% targeting condo units. The survey, which polled approximately 2,000 Singaporeans and permanent residents in November and December 2025, highlights a preference for new condo units among this demographic, despite a significant increase in median new condo launch prices from S$1,694 per square foot in 2020 to S$2,572 per square foot in 2025. Concurrently, singles aged 30-34 earning at least S$10,000 monthly are interested in private properties, while older singles show more caution due to economic uncertainties and financing costs.
