Four Undang dispute MB’s claim over Mubarak’s removal 15h ago

The four Undang of Negri Sembilan have publicly disputed claims made by Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun regarding the removal of the Undang of Sungei Ujong, Datuk Mubarak Dohak. In a joint statement issued on Tuesday, April 21, the four Undang, including Mubarak himself, stated that the Dewan Keadilan dan Undang (DKU) did not reach a unanimous decision to advise Mubarak's removal as a ruling chieftain, contradicting statements from Aminuddin's office on April 17 and April 20. They asserted that Aminuddin is unfit to lead the state and called for his replacement, further stating their support for a declaration made on April 19 to depose the 11th Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan. Aminuddin’s office had previously stated that the DKU advised Mubarak's removal based on 33 alleged offenses, a process claimed to be in accordance with Article 14(3) of the Negri Sembilan Constitution.
