Kenya's export earnings, estimated at Sh164.6 billion annually from trade with Gulf nations, are at risk due to the ongoing Middle East conflict. Trade Cabinet Secretary Lee Kinyanjui stated that the instability is disrupting crucial logistics and trade flows. This disruption poses a significant threat to key Kenyan exports including flowers, tea, meat, dairy, and apparel, jeopardizing a substantial portion of the country's foreign exchange earnings if de-escalation efforts fail.
