She told women to be ambitious. Some listened – and made millions 27.04.2026

Designer Tory Burch has fostered significant success for women entrepreneurs through her #EmbraceAmbition campaign and the Tory Burch Foundation. Launched in 2017, the #EmbraceAmbition initiative encouraged women to openly embrace their ambition, resonating deeply with figures like Cassie Abel, CEO of Wild Rye apparel. Amid personal and professional challenges, Abel, a beneficiary of the Tory Burch Foundation Fellows Program, expanded her business to over $4 million in sales. Similarly, Pilar Guzmán, founder of Half Moon Empanadas, is projected to reach $30 million in revenue this year with support from the foundation, which provides grants, mentorship, and networking. These entrepreneurs, alongside others like Beau Wangtrakuldee of AmorSui, exemplify the foundation's goal to add $1 billion to the economy through women-led businesses by 2030, with a current impact of $342 million.
