Romanian cinema is prominently featured at the 21st South-East European Film Festival (SEEfest) in Los Angeles, running from Wednesday until May 6. The festival opens with Ioana Mischie's film 'Catane' (2025), with the director in attendance, followed by Igor Cobileanski's 'Comatogen' (2024). Additional Romanian productions, including short films and documentaries like 'The Road Home' (2025) by Marian Farcut, 'Electing Ms Santa' (2025) by Raisa Razmerita, and 'Hollowgram' by Laura Iancu, will be showcased to American audiences.
