A motorcyclist was seriously injured last night on the Verlengde Stellingweg in Amsterdam-Noord after being struck by a car. The accident occurred around 10:30 PM near the entrance to the A10 highway. Following the collision, the car ended up in the roadside ditch against a pole. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with multiple bone fractures. The driver of the car has been arrested by police on suspicion of causing an accident with serious injury. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the crash, which led to a prolonged road closure for forensic examination.
