The 7th Gulangyu Music Festival commenced Monday in Xiamen, Fujian Province, under the theme "Romantic Heritage, Musical Island," transforming the historic Gulangyu Island into a vibrant performance space. Known as China's "Island of Music," Gulangyu hosts this year's festival with immersive concerts at landmark venues including the Gulangyu Concert Hall, the Organ Arts Center, and the Gulangyu art space of the National Art Museum of China.
