Revealed: How Kyle and Jackie O meltdown tickled the media regulator 20.05.2026

Senior officials at the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), including Chair Nerida O’Loughlin, Deputy Chair Adam Suckling, and colleague Carolyn Lidgerwood, found amusement in media coverage of Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson’s on-air issues. Emails obtained via freedom of information reveal the trio praised The Daily Telegraph’s March 4 front-page headline "KIIS OFF" and discussed rival breakfast hosts. Last year, an investigation found nine breaches of decency provisions by the show.
